TREMEC TKO Transmission
All new TKO-500 or TKO-600 transmission. Includes billet aluminum Tremec shifter (using Tremec shifter requires minor modifications to your tunnel). For a no modification installation, the optional offset shifter is required.

Transmission mount Most of our kits include a
Prothane polyurethane mount. These mounts offer longer life and more stability under load than stock-style rubber mounts. Compare to the $7 parts store mounts the competition sells.

Our GM kits come standard with a made in USA 18" speedometer conversion cable that allows the use of your original cable, eliminating the need to dig around behind your dash. Each cable is built using premium quality cables and housings and is pre-lubricated for smooth operation. Customers who need it can opt for a full length cable at no extra charge. |

Crossmember
Each American Powertrain crossmember or crossmember bracket is custom built specifically for your application. Our tubular cross members feature extremely stable triple-wall carbon steel, preventing bending and vibration common with cheaper flat welded and stamped steel cross members.
| All cross members feature CNC laser cut flanges, precision TIG welding, installation hardware, and a chassis black powder coat finish. You will not need to modify your car or transmission to install our cross members. |

Shifter
The TKO transmission includes a one-piece shifter mechanism with a newly re-designed spring system for crisp 2-3 shifts and great noise isolation.

Optional Two-Piece Billet PowerPro™ offset shifter.
For cars that require an
"offset" shift handle position for certain console applications,
we offer various low-profile PowerPro™ offset shifters. With the ability to set your shift stick at almost any location, this shifter will achieve stock handle placement when using a center console for the following cars: 1967-81 Camaro/Firebird, 1964-67 Chevelle/GTO/442, 1962-72 Chevy II/Nova, 58-70 Impala/Biscayne, 65-73 Mustang and others. All PowerPro shifters are available with adjustable stops for more spirited driving. High performance offset shifter with special spring design that makes the 2-3 shift a breeze and never loosens or rattles like coil spring designs. This direct bolt-on replacement shifter achieves a perfect fit for your stock console and requires no modifications to your tunnel, console or to the transmission. If your goal is a "no cut, no modification" installation, this shifter is for you. Add $235.00 for street models, $255 for track models with integrated stops. |

Reproduction of GM "621" stock bellhousing. Precision built to within .005" run-out with high titanium content for durability under torque load. Includes GM ball stud, inspection cover, and all hardware. Now available for Pontiac.
| We carry several new aluminum bell housings as well as an exciting line of Scattershields made by Quicktime. These 6.1SFI Scattershields are approximately half the weight of traditional Lakewood clutch housings with twice the strength and have redefined the Scattershield market. |
