Science Friction flywheels represent the state-of-the-art in performance flywheels for almost every application. Unlike cheap Asian knock-offs, all Science Friction flywheels are made in the USA from solid billet steel or billet aluminum with a billet steel friction insert. Race balanced for stock applications these flywheels can be ordered for literally any domestic application. We even build custom flywheels and one-offs for your oddball projects that don’t quite fit the mold. Science Friction flywheels are priced competitively and every model is available SFI Certified. CNC machined from a single billet of high grade aluminum, these flywheels are lightweight and reduce drag on your crank, allowing very quick rpm climb and awesome performance for high revving engines. The high carbon steel friction insert is fastened with NASA grade T-10 aluminum rivets and is double Blanchard ground for excellent clutch disc seating. Ring gears are also fastened with T-10 fasteners. SFI Certification available on all models.

Application specific models available for all Ford, GM and Mopar applications. Custom and one-off available for just about anything you can imagine. Try us!

Constructed from a single billet of high carbon steel, these flywheels are CNC machined for incredible accuracy. Ring gears are heat pressed to the flywheel. Available in stock weight, or lightened for quicker RPM gain, every SF Billet Flywheel is SFI quality and can be SFI Certified on request.
